Maria Adelaide (Rodrigues) Duarte, 70, passed on May 5, 2019. Wife of late John J. Duarte, married for 36 beautiful years. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, Adelaide was daughter of late Maria Jose Rodrigues and late Jose Manuel Rodrigues. Adelaide had been employed by Conrad Jarvis for over 25 years before retiring. She is survived by son John J. Duarte Jr., and his wife Jocelyn, daughters, Elizabeth Rodrigues, Melanie Rodrigues Duarte and Linda Rodrigues Duarte, three grandchildren, Unique Rodrigues, Darius Silva and Ezekiel Duarte, two great grandchildren, Krystiel Flores and Soleil Flores, siblings, Laurinda Dos Reis Rodrigues, Maria Rosalina Baptista, Carlos Alberto Rodrigues and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of late Maria Madalena Rodrigues.

Funeral will be held Saturday, May 11th, 8:30am at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Funeral Service 10am at Covenant Congregational Church, 143 Glenwood Ave, Pawtucket. Burial will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Relatives and friends are cordially invited. Visitation Friday, 5-8pm.
